What-Visa

Skilled Visa Australia

The Australian government offers a General Skilled Migration (GSM) visa program designed to attract skilled professionals to Australia. Visa applicants must be proven skilled professionals and tradespersons with relevant qualifications and/or work experience who can make an immediate positive impact on the Australian economy. Included in this program are permanent residency (migration) visas with unrestricted work rights.

The 1 July 2012 Skill Select model and GSM Points Test is a transparent and objective selection process, awarding points to the skills and attributes considered to be in need in Australia. It is designed to select the best and brightest skilled migrants who will make the optimum economic contribution to Australia and does not give undue weight to any one factor and recognises a broader range of skills and attributes.

visa-business

The Australian Government understands that throughout the years international business people have considerably boosted the skills base of the Australian economy, expanded local business and export activity and created employment opportunities for Australians. Despite the global economic slowdown, Australia continues to thrive and boasts one of the most developed and technologically advanced economies in the world and certain business people can apply for this Australian visa. Located in the Asia-Pacific region, Australia is strategically positioned to offer business migrants an exciting edge and a chance for a better lifestyle.

Student Visa

39 University institutions (37 government-funded universities and 2 private universities) provide a wide variety of courses with flexible delivery methods and state of the art teaching, recreational and sporting facilities. Universities engage in teaching and research across a wide range of professional and academic disciplines. These disciplines may be specialist in nature (eg, Medicine, Engineering) or generalist (eg. Arts, Science).

Quality Courses - government legislation and codes of conduct operate to regulate the Education industry and ensure students receive quality education.

visa-parent

Overseas Parents may be able to migrate to or temporarily stay in Australia if they have a child in Australia who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.

Parent includes an adoptive parent and a step-parent.

Generally, the following requirements are common for all Parent Visa Subclasses.

visa-employer

Overseas skilled workers may be sponsored by an Australian business or overseas business operating in Australia for a temporary or permanent residence visa depending upon the applicant’s skills/qualification/work experience and the employer’s location/position available and business needs.

Employer sponsored Temporary Work (Skilled) Subclass 457 visa applications are ideal for businesses who need to fill a skill shortage which cannot be filled locally.

visa-partner

Overseas people in a relationship with an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident may be able to join their partner in Australia!

The Australian Partner Migration Program enables Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents and even Eligible New Zealand citizens to sponsor an overseas partner (spouse, fiancé or de facto partner) to migrate to Australia. Spouse visa or partner visa applicants must either be married, engaged to (prospective marriage visa), or in a de facto (common law) ongoing and genuine relationship with an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident in order to be considered for a partner visa.

visa-investor

The Investor Retirement visa allows applicants who are aged 55 years or older and who have no dependants (other than a spouse, who can be aged less than 55 years), and are able to be self-supporting without cost to Australia's social and welfare services systems, the ability to spend some of their retirement years in Australia. This visa type is only a temporary residence (allowing multiple entry) visa for Australia.
