Introduction

The Investor Retirement visa allows applicants who are aged 55 years or older and who have no dependants (other than a spouse, who can be aged less than 55 years), and are able to be self-supporting in Australia without cost to Australia's social and welfare services systems the ability to spend some of their retirement years in Australia.

This is a temporary residence (multiple entry) visa only.

This does not lead to permanent residence in Australia or to Australian citizenship.
